The antitrust laws<\/a> are supposed to apply to virtually all businesses and lines of commerce in the United States, with a few notable exemptions, such as \u201cthe business of baseball,\u201d the insurance industry, and union activity, but there are \u201cexceptions to the exemptions,\u201d and the baseball exemption might soon be ended.
